my interpretations

The portrait by the famed artist of India..Raja Ravi Verma...I just thought of reading the picture...the traditional female in the maharasthrain attire symbolize a  total culture centric display.Beauty is the only noun that can be given for the piece. With no cosmetic aids the natural beauty filled with traditions of the respective state is very well essayed.
The story which I write from the picture goes like this. The lady is from a village in Maharashtra. The lady is newly married and is getting adjusted to the husband's family traditions. In her house, guests have come down, and the lady comes to welcome the guests with the traditional method of quenching them with water.Again a display of complete innocence is lit in the eyes. The reason could be the guest could be elderly ones and they might quiz her.Mixture of respect, fear and obedience is evidently displayed on her face......
Other story can be a plight of anticipation that is displayed on her face.Reason can be she is eagerly waiting at the doorstep during the evening hours for her husband. The pot in her arm is full of water and she is waiting to quench her hubby's thirst as soon as his arrival.Pain filled with anxiousness and her mind racking the reasons for her husband to be late. Its been long span of their separation because of the work from dawn till late evenings. She is fighting with her mind as what would she do if something happens to her hubby. All etched beautifully is the art of Ravi Verma
