Big B's comments on "Slumdog Millionaire"
Bachchan said: "Slumdog Millionaire projects India as a Third World dirty under belly developing nation and causes pain and disgust among nationalists and patriots."I totally disagree on his comments. Its the proper depiction of the slums. If the reality is such y dont people digest the same.Anyways we people never have guts to walk or smell the shit in Dharavi, wherein the film is picturised. The quote holds true "truth is always sour".Y isnt there an optimism in thinking.Think how a slum guy or slumdog as stated comes out of the area n becomes world famous.Y only focus on the slums the gutters the drainages...Its the truth. As such I think there is nothing to b embarrased on the same real fact.Though India is a developing nation people in this nation have the spirit n the determination to prove to the globe that nothing is impossible.Y is it that only the creamy layers of the society can come up?India though a developing nation surely has the will to do n will achieve its name as a "Developed nation".Nothing wrong in sketching out n putting lights on the biggest slum area. Its the fact n fact is a fact n there rises no question of embarrasment dear Amitabh Sir..
