NDTV produced a first ever 24hrs live Greenathon programme,to create awareness amongst people of all strata to make the globe a better place to live in.Milind Soman ran 24hrs to spread out the same message.every km he ran gained him around 25thousand.the total sum wud b invested to install a solar power plant in villages.Many actors n film personalities willingly stepped in for the good cause of painting the world green not wid paints but by planting trees.Global warming caused due to the deforestation has just hiked the temperatures in thermometers n studded holes in the ozoze blanket to burn our skins.The use of electronic gadgets have extended the diameters of holes in the ozone blanket.The glacier effect the drastic temperature changes,etc etc.all are the causes of global warming.Though its late,its not too late to atleast make certain efforts from all of us to plant more trees n make the globe a cool place to live in.
Many stars Bipasha,Madhuri,Farah Khan,Cyrus etc have performed to pass on the message.The entire day,people have volunteered to clean up the yamuna ghats n other rivers.Billu Barber team wid SRK has announced of taking up 5 villages n improving the same.Sanjay Dutt also has declared his wish to take up a village.
Thanks to NDTV to come up wid an awareness show like this n educate the masses.Thanks to the high profile stars to volunteer n spread the good advices to people.I request that the govt. takes this seriously n implements the same as a rule to start afforestation n avoid wasteage of electricity,water n all natural resources.Firstly the care takers(govt.) shud be imparted with this knowledge n inturn it would b implemented by the people.The Area supervisors should take initiative to make people aware about these things n start the afforestation.Because when common public like me say,no ones gonna give an agreement.So the Area supervisors shud take this issue seriously n start making every area green.
Every Indian who returns from abroad states that "US/UK is so clean".Why isnt that the same said for India.India is rich in culture,traditions,etc. so y not take his credit.Let the world come to know India is no less in any aspect,for that matter Slumdog millionaire....Amitabh said SLumdog shows the underbelly of India.Y not improve that..nothing is impossible
I personally request every school/educational board to make children plant trees n light them the cons of wasteage.This is just a bit that can b done by each individual n all drops make a mighty ocean.United if we stand,no power can defeat us......So Lets turn our globe a Green kool planet.
