rose is a rose is a rose

a rose is a rose is a rose
pink and red and yellow
all bloom up with sweet smiles
glancing with happiness dances roses
to picture the world its merriment
felt wanna be like a cheerful rose
and pictured myself to be one
but came a bee to sting me wandered a squirrel
to nibble my feeble petals
came a storm to brush me hard but in pain I managed
ants rolled to taste me and rains drenched me fully
back to reality came I and thought
a rose is a rose is a rose
with pains and wounds glows it in joy
but emits cheerfulness in full go
ascertains laughter and smiles to wave off worries
globe admires beauty of smiles and not frowns
and surely a rose is a rose is a rose
